I tested this, and was unable to get it to read a dvd, inspire of the fact that it powers up and I could run through the menus. I’m selling it for parts since the ac adapter, carry case, car power adapter ear plugs, video audio cable and rechargeable battery are included.
I was unable to test the remote as the battery tray is damaged.
